Gardenstown
Gardenstown is a unique and picturesque village on the Moray Coast which is built on terraces running down the cliff to the sea. There is only one road that winds down to the harbour and sandy beach, otherwise the village is criss-crossed by steps and walkways between the houses.

Lots to Explore
Once here it is easy to relax into the gentle rhythm of this peaceful place, especially as it can provide for all needs, with a small supermarket, bakery, cafes, craft shops and a welcoming pub, while the quiet, sandy beach will keep children happy for hours.
The coast is particularly well provided with golf courses, while inland you are not far from hill and moorland walks or the delights of the Whisky Trail, as well as a host of historic houses and castles. For a spot of culture, Duff House at Banff is an outpost of the National Gallery of Scotland and even the Granite City of Aberdeen is perfectly feasible to visit for a day trip.
Dolphins are often seen in the bay and boat trips are available from the harbour to explore the wide variety of wildlife along the coastline. There are plenty of local walks including one where you walk round under the cliffs to Crovie.
