Rosemarkie & Fortrose
With it's pretty little harbour and secluded, unspoilt beach, Fortrose is a gem of a town on the south coast of the picturesque Black Isle. A similarly attractive destination is the neighbouring village of Rosemarkie, steeped in history and also with its own peaceful beach.
The two settlements border the world famous peninsula of Chanonry Point where, after a short stroll along the outcrop, spotting dolphins frolic in the Moray Firth is a real possibility at all times of the year.
