Castleview Lodges
Set against the stunning backdrop of the rolling Scottish Borders countryside, these three bespoke lodges combine contemporary luxury with gorgeous scenery and each has the added bonus of its own hot tub. They are the ideal setting for a relaxing break and are the perfect place to return to for a restorative soak after getting out and about taking in the sights.
Although the lodges allow guests to enjoy the peace and quiet of rural life, they are also only a short drive from the bustling town of Lauder where there are lots of shops to explore and a choice of pubs and restaurants to try out. It is only a 45 minute drive up to the capital Edinburgh or jump on the train at Galashiels (9 miles) and head up for a day trip without having to worry about parking in the city.
Walkers will be happy to find the Southern Upland Way walking route practically on the doorstep and mountain bikers will definitely want to try out the excellent 7Stanes mountain biking centres at Innerleithen (20 miles) and Glentress (24 miles) which have a range of graded trails to tackle.
