This contemporary haven has been carefully designed to make the very most of the sea scene spread out in front of the house. Open plan living is the word of the day here and the main living area has been set out upstairs with huge glass panels to showcase the surroundings. An electric flame effect stove flickers away on the wall and the stylish dining area is by the windows with further views to die for.
All three of the double bedrooms have been beautifully presented with king-size beds and TVs. As an added bonus, the two downstairs rooms also have their own direct access out to the lovely lower deck.
The two fantastic, private decks wrap around the loch side of the house with glass balustrades showing off the sea vista and seating where the gorgeous setting can be fully appreciated. Watch the boats bobbing out in the water and admire the little island of Kerrera that sits just off the coastline.
A designated parking space is provided just alongside and it is only a 5 minute drive into the centre of Oban for supplies.
Picturesque Oban (1.5 miles) has a great range of pubs, restaurants and cafés to try out as well as interesting gift shops, a gallery and a choice of supermarkets.
Take an informative tour around the Oban Distillery for an insight into the lengthy whisky making process or try a tasting session of their fine single malt. At the Glencruitten Golf Club the 9 hole course (that was designed by the famous James Braid) is surrounded by lush vegetation with buzzards, heron and deer to look out for whilst playing a round or two.
Oban is known as a central travel hub for various different ferry services that link up to the Inner Hebridean islands and even as far out as the Isle of Barra. Travel over to the wonderful Isle of Mull in just 45 minutes for a day trip either taking the car or heading over as a foot passenger.
A woodland trail from Oban leads out to Dunollie Castle and Grounds that has an excellent museum with guided tours, interactive displays illustrating the history of the MacDougall family and weaving demonstrations on a 19th century loom. On Sundays there is even a bagpiper playing traditional music.
Nearby Ganavan sands in Ganavan Bay (4 miles) is a beautiful long stretch of sandy beach that is a delightful place to spend an afternoon or enjoy a seaside picnic.
Dunstaffnage Castle (5 miles) is an impressive 13th century fortress that sits on an ancient rocky outcrop. Once inside it is possible to walk along its walls from which there are some amazing views of Dunstaffnage Bay. History enthusiasts will also want to pay a visit to Castle Stalker only half an hour’s drive away.
