Overview

‘Marram’ is a Gaelic word for the distinctive grass found in the dunes of the ‘Machair’ habitat which is exclusively found along the exposed northwestern coastline of Scotland and the west of Ireland, making it one of Europe's rarest.

Cliff Beach (Tràigh Na Clibhe), is a striking north-facing bay that opens to the Atlantic, boasting white sand and pristine, clear waters, framed by some of the Isle of Lewis's tallest cliffs.

This impeccably designed, luxurious cabin embodies contemporary design, with meticulous attention to detail. The porthole windows and door elegantly frame the magnificent views, and their captivating beauty.

The innovative layout maximises space, with separate sleeping and living quarters, accommodating up to four guests comfortably. It includes an open-plan living area, two bedrooms, and a bathroom.

The living space features a stylishly designed kitchen area, cleverly separated from the living area by a breakfast bar-style high table. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher and washing machine. Unwind on the cosy sofa in the living space and soak up the views.

Bunk beds are nestled into one of the cabin's bedrooms, while a separate double bedroom boasts a comfortable king-size bed with an Emma mattress. A stylish shower room adds convenience.

Outside, the patio invites relaxation, with evening meals enjoyed on the picnic bench while taking in the stunning sunsets over the Atlantic Ocean. It's also an ideal spot for storm watching in winter.

This snug cabin serves as the perfect launchpad for your Outer Hebridean adventures. After exploring the Isle of Lewis, retreat to stylish comfort while savouring the magnificent views.

Cliff Beach has a strong undercurrent and isn't suitable for swimming. However, the bay's shape makes it popular with experienced surfers and bodyboarders, with breaks up to 12 feet (3.7 meters).

Marram offers an ideal beach holiday for families, offering endless hours of fun in the white sand just outside your door. With its breathtaking scenery and luxury accommodation, it's the ultimate romantic escape for couples. Whatever draws you to Cliff Beach, you'll depart with lasting memories.
